What are your thoughts on this? I’m now dating a woman who’s significantly older than me (I’m 36, she’s 52) and things are going extremely well so far. We both work full time, I have a kid but she doesn’t, is extremely mature, and isn’t overly clingy. I haven’t dated in a very long time, since my ex-wife left me smh and this the first time since where I found a woman who’s very caring.
Going back to the topic, I know there’s a big stigma against age gap in relationships and from time to time I feel little self conscious about it. What are your thoughts on age gaps in general? Yay or nay? Inputs appreciated
Depends on what you want. Age gaps are generally more problematic closer to retirement. One is working and the other isn’t but wants to do more. Add in solving for SSI and Medical Care in the future, and it can be a little harder. It’s not perfect close in age either, because life sucks sometimes. It’s just more likely to be a problem later in life.
people usually rob the cradle this nigga robbing the grave
Dating a 50 yo b**** an L if that s*** go long term
Down the road, You gon wanna go for a hike while she in a wheelchair and regret your life
I’m 27 (about to turn 28 next month) and I still routinely have people thinking I’m 18-19, sometimes even still in high school if I’m clean shaven, so I inevitably end up seemingly only getting hit on by girls who are at least 6+ years younger than me.
It’s a very weird feeling, like I have to remind myself constantly how old I am because I don’t feel like I’m nearing 30, I barely feel like I’m in my 20s.
I also work retail so I’m surrounded by people who are either fresh out of high school or in college.
just like me fr

That's reassuring, I shouldn't let my overthinking hinder my confidence especially when being out in Public with her.
7 year age gap between me and my now ex. I was 26 she was 19 when we met. Would’ve been 5 years tomorrow...
With that said though, I would not date younger than 24 now. She was one of a kind.

yeah for real. you know what you got, everyone else can think what they want, especially if they're just strangers it doesn't mean s***
How are you 36 years old and asking for input on your relationships from KTT?
