Hey, I really appreciate that man… I’m not gonna lie. I’ve been laying back for days trying to see how to profit off of this legally… The best thing you can do is just make AI covers and get people to follow you on social media, the scary thing is I want to put out some music really quick, because I got a feeling all this Ai cover stuff is going to go out of style… Like I’m scared nobody’s gonna care about AI covers next week 😅😅

I think there will certainly be a workaround legally. But it’s hard to know your legal boundaries when you’re dealing with something fresh like this.

Hell it might be that this jumpstart a music career as a producer for you and/or other creators. But there will always be the bad apples in any niche space like this which was really what I was alluding to.

Anyone suggesting there won't be lawsuits resulting from this AI madness are being dumb. UMG has already gotten to work on behalf of every artist it has associations with. How do you fake the likeness and identity of someone and think there won't be any repercussions?

Anyone making fake AI songs should make a character that they boldly state is AI and then create music using that character that doesn't copy someone else's style, if they think they're that creative.

See, it's easy to mimick/create a fake from an original entity. Tell them to create an Identity from scratch and all that genius goes out the window.

Agreed and That’s what I was just telling Jadore too. I know there’s a lot of people that truly don’t mean harm and are just messing around or trying to show off their creativity but it’s a pretty powerful tool and misuse of it could potentially be dangerous..

It seems harmless now because it's still easy to tell what's an AI song from a real song but those lines will only get blurred as time passes and then what? Also, no artist will be okay with this AI s***. None. It keeps money out of their pockets and it makes a joke of the careers they've worked hard to build because some clown in a room somewhere thinks all it takes to being an artist is manipulating voices over weird beats.

I give it, worst case, till the end of the year before all the major labels come together and force the US government to make a bill protecting against s*** like this. This s*** is very dangerous.

I agree w you completely & the labels are definitely gonna try what you said but surely this is impossible to stop now. There's like 5+ different ways to make these songs already & the code is all opensource so they can't just ban the actual software. The best they can do is go after the songs people make, but that'll just be a neverending game of wackamole.

This AI will get better and better and sound just like real artists & people will be sharing songs they made using it on whatsapp/discord/imessage and there's nothing labels can do about it
