yea i started out with notebooks last year. do you have mj or dall-e access?
neitherrrrr. but its not super integral to what i do. i think dall-e bout to bust heads tho within the next year s*** really looks crazy. dreadfully anticipating the first political scandal/uproar because of it
honestly those really werent that difficult w/ dalle2. just did several prompt variations
ill link some resources on prompt design
with midjourney its all about iterating and iterating with variations and prompts a LOT. choose the best variations each time, look closely. etc.
also read the docs. i always use a width of something like 360, 420 or 500
e.g.
A highly detailed digital 3D render of a black cat wearing a gold chain, trending on artstation, character design by Pixar --w 420`
tried it just now and had to go through like 40-50 variations to get something that didnt look all messed up
mj isn't as good as dall-e at understanding natural language and how things connect with each other. i mean its still good, but not compared to dall-e's language understanding abilities
With DALL-E you get more coherent results immediately. but the prompts that work well with MJ dont work well with dall-e and vice versa. you can do better than the above images with less effort on mj but im rusty w/ mj prompt design after using dall-e so much
You are literally the goat
Does this suck for painters/ art in general

If you don't know how to adapt. Concept artists can work really fast and get to a client's vision really quickly.
However, you prolly will really have to back it up with an amazing portfolio stating the work you did is without Dall E.
A lot of companies might just buy a Dall E subscription to cheap out, but nothing will beat a skilled artist listening to a client's needs for a while.

I’m honestly not too sure about this. The smarter Dall E gets with more and more use, the easier it seems it will produce EXACTLY what is inputted to exact specifications.

This is far better used as a resource than a replacement in highly creative work. But this will replace a lot of simpler graphic work and will put a big hole in the stock images industry

True, but creatives can really still create something new and unseen at a faster pace than machines atm.
Like someone else said, this can be used a resource than a replacement.
how long did it take for you guys to get your dalle invites? signed up about 5 days ago

I thought you weren't allowed celebs
Imagine how blurry that definition is. I didn’t make these either. If u check the sub the might’ve used his real name not stage name and even then there’s a celeb difference between apnex and Rihanna and idk how it categorizes or determines whatever
nah
@Moonchaser why u both say no? It’s gonna get exponentially better
