Made one critique in the Mr. Morale thread and got hit with the "y'all Drake stans always hating". Never mentioned Drake at all

the upvote/downvote system encourages echo chambers, you quite literally cannot present an opinion that goes against the milieu from each subreddit, that also isn’t even getting into the holier than thou attitudes of most of the users on there

tbf though, i honestly don’t consider this site wholly different from Reddit (nor 4chan or any other social media in general really like Twitter) there’s a lot of crossover

There’s just something about the upvote system that I just don’t like. I feel like people read highly upvoted posts, assume their true due to the upvotes, and then they regurgitate it everywhere. You spend some time on that site and you start noticing so many repeating narratives and thoughts. Hive mind s***.

It really becomes apparent when you see topics you’re very familiar with get discussed on there.

all of the repeated narratives and opinions on that site really come off as cynical and pander-y versus what most of the users genuinely think on there, this site can be very circlejerk-y and delusional too, but there isn’t a whole tool that necessarily encourages it like their upvoting system does, if your post is downvoted enough it’s literally hidden from view
