Agreed with on that, actually. I was raised on forums and grew up on communities like SomethingAwful, ABS, and Fark. Those separate websites were fun. Social media in general just killed them though, it's not just reddit. To touch on your Edumist's point though the mainstream Reddit communities are pretty embarrassing. "Updoot my chonker!" The absolute worst subs I've ever seen are r/shitposting and r/memes. They're just overloaded with stupid 14 year old kids spamming stuff that wasn't ever funny.

🥱🥱 quality is subjective. I’m not doing all that. I’ll just buy the clothes I like and call it a day. Once I wear them out, I buy it again or get another item. Not that complicated
