S*** like ticket sales and billboard 100 only measures how big you are to mainstream America

Y’all are really acting like Baby ain’t a star because not enough tanners and callies bought tickets to his show in Arkansas lmaoo

Lol no. Plenty of artists are borderline niche and pull in great ticket sales.

meg the stallion is massive (triple entendre don't even ask) and I don't think she could sell out an arena, same with DaBaby, Lil Baby, and Lil Uzi

How does your strange idealistic projection onto what music and concerts represent have anything to do with how hot an artist is

Honestly this isn’t a biggie. Concert tickets are expensive and time consuming and Baby has a younger and lower income fanbase than someone like Travis or Carti

The 1975’s constant sellouts are f***ing incredible to me I still have no clue how they’ve pulled it off without a solid album in 3 years

Lil Baby & Friends not selling out in goddamn Oklahoma and Arkansas does not mean "not doing well" imo.

The fact he got that many seats already is a good sign.

Did he do well in the major cities? If so, bless up

So what about kids in highscool who can’t just pay and go to concerts

Why you targeting arenas then. Should be smaller venues, multiple shows

  • Oct 18, 2021

Concert sales isn’t a good metric for a young artist popularity

Artists who sell out these venues usually have an older fanbase that has the money to buy these tivkets with no problems. This is why old rock artists sell more concert tickets than Drake for example, it’s because they have an older fanbase

A good metric for Baby would be streams and chart placements, as he ages his touring crowd should go up no matter what
