No idea. I don't even know how/when/why Ak got it in the first place. The first post in this thread was actually an hour before kylegarb's post on instagram.

Which makes 2 things possible... Ak saw it and posted it and that's it, or bruh made it for Drake per request and Ak was sent the pic by the camp to build hype

Yeah, it's definitely possible that he was commissioned by Drake's team for it, they sent it to Ak to build hype, then when the kid sees Ak posting the cover he figures it's fine to go ahead and post it on his page.

But tagging everyone affiliated with OVO also makes it seem like he's trying to get them to see it

It makes no sense for Drake's camp to send it to Akademiks to build hype. Drake has never done that before and it makes no sense for him to start doing that now. That theory never made sense and it still doesn't make sense.

Most likely, the Kyle dude just made this and tagged all of Drake's people so they could see it and acknowledge his work. Many other graphic designers and illustrators have done the same in the past. It's nothing new.

Akademiks saw it and posted it like it came from Drake camp, again, clout-chasing like he always does.
