Yeah Nardwuar is a legend but he doesn't really have deep conversations, his niche is pretty much digging up s*** and surprising artists which is cool but most his interviews are kinda comedic which don't really help artists be vulnerable that much because they try to match his comedic energy, for example the Zane interview with Kanye where he talks about how p***ography has affected him and his life because his father would leave playboy magazines around him at a young age is something that I don't think u can get from a Nardwuar interview, but I guess that also depends on who he's interviewing and their personality like u said but he creates a nice atmosphere where his interviews feel dynamic and sorta like a therapy session with the artist if that makes sense, but both are good at what they do they just got different approaches
