Thats a fair point, but i think thats lost on ppl who dont actively pay attention to hip hop. On a broader scale drake is percieved as soft, which plays off the lightskin trope, which is recognized worldwide beyond the black community

There are countervailng negative cultural trends both within and outside hip hop that fueled the flames of the beef

One thing i will say is there are an awful lot of prominent black men being exposed for weird s*** and i wonder why its happening right now, with so many other negative trends occurring in our communities partially due to hip hop, which is ironically where most of the offendrrs are found
