He's a great performer, probably the best rap performer, so that's a no-brainer. People are just upset that Wayne, a rap legend, isn't getting to perform in his hometown. Might seem unreasonable to some people but that's just how people feel and you can't ignore it.

Wayne is a huge NFL fan and it'd have been a show in his hometown. Hard to believe he wouldn't give his all to be ready to deliver in a performance that'd last less than 15 minutes and a show he'd have multiple guests on. It is what it is, though. I don't think Kendrick was a bad pick, people only get it was the wrong pick because he got chosen to do it in NOLA while Wayne got overlooked.
