Problem?
So good
Niggas nowadays brush the movie / manga off as overhyped without trying to understand it. One of the best CBMs ever tbh
Still gotta read the original manga series cause I know the movie barely covers everything that happens in it

Wish they made more animated films covering the rest of the story

it's just a different story alltogether tbh, both have their merits and both are some of the best in their respective genres
This movie is more relevant than ever, its honestly crazy.
s*** even lowkey predicted the year Japan would host the olympics I'm crying
The animation frame rate in this flick is too smooth - especially considering the time of the original release.
The world the director paints is seriously so immersive. All the details into the backgrounds and characters is still really crazy.
The BTS vids of how they made this movie and manga are really cool - recommend anyone to watch those.
going to see this in theaters this week. have seen it b4 but only at home on laptop.

In Toronto (which id argue is best movie scene in world in terms of selection and quality of theaters...ive been to most major cities to compare), we always have older items playing or random foreign films etc.
This week for whatever reason is Akira.
