That’s a long time. I moved to the US when I was 9 and that was in 2007. It’s not surprising that Akon is so far behind in his thinking of this subject, coming from the perspective of an immigrant. I grew up on the internet, fast-food information age. It takes a much shorter time period for someone like me to understand these concepts at a young age than someone like Akon today who has probably spent most of his life with a similar mentality.
