i think that album and Rihanna in general is overrated as f*** but nevertheless, it was highly acclaimed. hella people f*** with Rih just based off that one album alone, think that says a lot. I think he’s wayyy more talented than her and I enjoy his music more overall but Chris doesn’t have an acclaimed album like that

I like 3/4 of those albums a lot but they are not classics on the level of the ones I mentioned that inspired the generation(s) afterwards. but people such as yourself continue to insist he’s one of the greatest artists of all time on MJ’s level with nothing to back it up other than he can dance, which i will give him credit for

Do you really think CB of all people is going to be critically acclaimed despite his past? No. His music isn’t judged fairly by the public, critics, or even half the people on this site. Despite this, he has a larger catalog of hits than almost every single artist in the history of music.

No one is saying he’s the greatest artist of all time. Stevie Wonder, MJ, etc are on a different plane of musical genius from Chris and anyone can see that.

Akon’s opinion (which counts for more than yours and mine combined) is that Chris has the voice, dance ability, talent, and stage presence to be as iconic of a figure as Mike if he was surrounded by a team who could help him lock in his sound, similar to usher. But it’s too late now and his past kinda veered him off of that trajectory even before he surrounded himself with yes-men.

All that being said he gets WAY too much disrespect. Not many of his contemporaries can boast the kind of achievements he can.
