I still haven’t played control yet but I just copped AW2, im assuming this means I should play through control first?

There are some apparent connections to Control in AW2, but I wouldn’t say it’s necessary to play that before AW2. Alan Wake 1 is more important to play beforehand if anything.
You can play Control afterwards

The upcoming AW2 DLC might be heavily related to Control though, so I guess maybe you’ll have to play Control before that DLC drops. We’ll see.

It’s not technically necessary but it adds a lot to the experience so I’d recommend it
