Surprised to download an actual banger from the free monthly games

No way I’m buying the first so going to watch a recap. I’ve played Control years ago so need to watch a recap for that too since that’s apparently tied to the game

Bought RE4 Remake on launch and never touched a scary game since then so this will be a good follow up.

Needs more jumpscares just make the whole game jumpscares

I fell asleep the first hour in lol

Now that I got past the initial “you can only walk around” 1.5 or so hours I am way more into it, the survival horror of the survival horror is more fun

Also lol at number one fan night springs episode

Fun horror game with surreal elements that doesnt take itself too seriously. If you wanna try something new its definitely worth it.

Idk, I tried AW1 after getting it bundled with Control Ultimate Edition (massive sale) and the navigation + combat of AW1 was so bad I ended up getting a refund just to buy ctrl alone. Is it better with an Xbox controller or some? On PC btw

Atmosphere is peak though, I’m clenching my ass constantly

I’m usually an action/adventure game type dude but this game has its claws in me. Haven’t touched a horror game since RE on the PS1, couldn’t even tell you which one

How does this play compared to the first one ? I just finished AW1 and it was super disappointing because the gameplay was awful, i like the story though.. is this game also 2/3rds brain numbing action sequences and going through samey boring levels ?

It’s RE2 style, slower paced shooting with occasional puzzles and exploration.

Sounds cool, first game felt like it was in a completely wrong genre altogether
