Ima big Stan and I love NWTS with all my heart but anyone that says it’s better than Take Care is delusional.

Nothing Was the Same definitely better. He does everything better on it. Even Drake thinks it's better.

I feel like every album hits different for each of us depending on where we were in our lives. That’s why he’s so special.

Big facts.

I actually can acknowledge NWTS is a great body of work. It works better as an album, in the late 10's sense, than TC.

But TC is still my favorite Drake album, no doubt.

Compared to the rapping on Take Care he had better overall rap moments on Nothing Was the Same. He found a way to balance rapping and singing way better on NWTS too. He even admitted on Take Care there were too many straight R&B ballads and down moments on the album.

On NWTS he was able to have great singing/R&B moments that were blending into the rapping. The overall strong structures of songs where better and more unique as well. The beats were more elaborate.

I think people just prefer the style of Take Care the most and the overall era feeling/esthetics and like you sayd it probably came out at a more pivotal and defining time for not only his but a lot of his fans lives but in terms of quality I don't see how people think Take Care was better than Nothing Was the Same. It's not like it's better by a lot but still.

I think it’s nostalgia and the iconic moments of TC as to why people claim that imo. But all your points of NWTS I agree with.
