Exactly. If he released CLB as his follow-up to TML in 2011, it would have been received just as well as Take Care. And if Take Care came out today, the haters would just call it boring etc.

Yes lol they want him to scream like he did on Trophies or Believe me. I don’t understand why you want Drake in 2021 to rap like he did 8-10 years ago. If he did, people would be like “why is he using that tired scream flow from 10 years ago he needs to stop that” . He is a different artist and has evolved. Jay said best, “you want my old s***? Buy my old albums”.
