Nah scorpion single were not great alot of non singles on this album beat any of those songs

Honestly the only hit from scorpion that has held up for me is nice for what

I was thinking the best singles from Scorpion were:
Nice For What + In My Feelings + Nonstop

but now that you mention it Race My Mind + Pipe Down + NFITI are all better or on the same level

It’s a strange one. Those Scorpion singles really dominated the airwaves. Nonstop and In My Feelings went viral as hell. Those CLB tracks are brilliant though.

All drake albums great, and I don't want him to revisit anything.. but can we agree that he's trying to keep up? I'd totally love to hear a drake album.. what I mean by that is, thank me later, take care, and nothing was the same, we're albums that were drake not trying to keep up with what's going on in music. It was 100% authentic. I'd almost put scorpion in that list too.. idk, and I'm not looking for hatemail.. hell, even care package was authentic, but true fans heard all that already. I just want drake to be himself his next album.. no reason to try and keep up.

The whole thing..tbh, dake has always made his own wave.. this album was a wave for the crowd he could capture. I do feel like 2020 leak f***ed the album up, because that was the actual album. Maybe I saturated the album for myself by hearing it, but alot of those songs were new.. I feel like since that happened, he did what he had to do to make sales..fair enough. I just hope his next piece is lock down

I don't get a lot of these criticisms of CLB tbh. the sound is actually pretty fresh to me. sample heavy but with a really ethereal, moody direction

take care was not giving you beats like pipe down. NWTS was not giving you beats like the second half of n 2 deep or TSU. IYRTITL wasnt even in the same ballpark sound wise

if there are problems with the album (IMO there are but its a matter of opinion really), they lie with the songwriting/subject matter

but IMO the sound was much more stripped back and gritty. like compare energy or no tell em to race my mind
