Nah he records all his music while drinking or sauced up now so it’s always gonna be that slurry slow flow or low energy.

man I wish Drake did something with that outro beat of Champagne Poetry

so many lowkey sad lyrics on CLB (esp Champagne Poetry and The Remorse), it makes me wish he went all-in on the somber and bleak "loverboy" vibe.
