I feel like Drake's team could have made beats like that a long time ago, way before them, but it's not Drake's style. I can't see Drake's voice with Travis' autotune and style. As for OVO stepping up their production, the answer is: they will. They always stepped up. They will now as well, but in their style. You can't name a project that Drake dropped and doesn't have a single instrumental that brings something new even to the game.

If you take away the auto tune,Mike Dean production and features from drake, frank Ocean, the weeknd, Etc. Then astroworld is a mediocre album at best. (Side note: why tf didn't Drake and the others get credited 🙃🙄)
