Last 3 years been mid to basic to me... If you like the 2018 to now production that's ok also but for me it's been lack luster and doesn't stand out which why I said bring back that old innovation they use to have...

100% I used to love Drake most for his beat selection but like you said last 3 years or so has been so basic. I wish he would work with more experimental producers or just go back to working with 40 exclusively cause all these basic trap producers are becoming stale and OZ is getting boring.

I feel what you saying but LNCL is his best beat for a lead single in years so I think CLB will be different. On the surface it’s deceptively simple but that s*** definitely has layers to it if you listen close, mix is outstanding too (coming from an engineer) I feel like CLB will easily be his most ambitious project in a long time production wise.

I feel what you saying but LNCL is his best beat for a lead single in years so I think CLB will be different. Love LNCL and definitely got high hopes for the album. I think it will be his best project since IYRT

I dont even know what it means for a Drake album to flop, at least in this climate. Everyone sales are not concrete in this landscape, and since were gonna be locked up its not like were gonna get album impact from parties.
I think hell be #1 for Hip Hop for the year at least, so even if he hit a lower sales than expected Im not even sure I would call that a flop
