Sunny SunAnybody else realizing his songs are getting way too formulaic ? I was super excited for this album but now I donāt really mind if it drops or delays or doesnāt drop at all
I feel like Drakeās mastered his craft & done everything so well to the point where his new stuff isnāt exciting anymore because you already know what to expect
The lil ep he released were duds too, besides the Lemon Wings ones
Idk I feel like drake is in a very dangerous position, he has to rejuvenate his sound & bring something extraordinary to the table to extend his reign for this decade

I feel like my hype just went rock bottom, he sounds super uninspired and playing safe on the last 4 singles since scorpion dropped, his features arenāt really the same tier on Savage Mode 2 or Slime Language 2 or even the durkio song, he sounds good but adds nothing new, I feel like if his output since DLDT is a sign for whatās coming, then CLB might be lower than everyoneās expectations...

I agree and had the same thought whilst listening to solid. It feels like we know what heās going to do on every beat now. Hopefully clb he introduces a new type of sound or new artists because itās definitely getting a bit old, but itās drake do heāll be good lol

heās seen the numbers of all the big hitters whoāve dropped albums i mean drake can easily do 500k first week if he just said tonight on thursday or did a surprise drop like with iyrtitl but i reckon he wanna tour in a few months of the album. at least it gives him more time to refine an album and this kinda album you gotta sit with it a while and constantly play it to see if it will get played 1,2,3 years after release

He wonāt be able to tour āfirst few months ā probably festival dates in UK etc
It gonna take a long while to get arena shows back in flow. Thatās why Weeknd just booked his tour for last album 2022

Yeah I agree. I think initially they planned to drop during the pandemic obviously but with other things transpiring which contributed to the delay (injury etc) and monitoring pandemic, social climate etc itās been been difficult.
Where we are right now itās worth going like summer. Developments being mad with vaccine rollouts and stuff
