Firstly, f*** yourself for recommending me a 2hr album. What’s wrong with you? But secondly, thank you cus almost every second of it is amazing.
There’s something powerful about this one.. might even have to do with the added context you mentioned to @Echiham
You can feel such a strong chemistry between the bandmates here, I think the first track demonstrates that most potently. I especially love what the bass player is doing throughout this thing. He’s playing something infectious on damn near every song
there’s a language barrier here (obv) but the feeling of the album is beyond immersive. I kinda wish I was drunk listening to this my first time and not driving.. perhaps I’ll do right by the album tonight
its friday after all
Some highlights for me were the opener, In The Flight (especially the violin solo), and Long Season. I’m actually in the midst of listening to it now to assist me with writing this because it’s so calming
incredible. my main complaint would be that it dragged for me at times and occasionally got predictable, but those moments are still weighted against an abundance of surprises as well.
I’m giving a strong 8-9/10. I think I gave my last album in here a similar score, and I don’t consider myself an easy critic but you came through with something special here.
Amazing, amaaazing stuff.
juvenile 400 degrees first listen thoughts.
never listened to a full juvenile project before.
is this where black kray got the title 700 Dagreez from?
im impressed this got a 9.4 from p4k lol
the song "Ha" has some goofy outdated drums to me. tf is that clap/snare sound, it sounds so yet.
and there's some acid bass in the background or someshit lmao. i appreciate the sound combinations.
gone ride with me is hard. love the beat and flow. follow me now is a bop. it's like a weird surf n turf rap song that's really fun.
tf is this skit lmfao. listening to these songs makes me realize ppl suck at rapping nowadays LOL
unreal that juvenile was 23 yrs old when he released this. now 23 yrs old just be yelling nonsense over rage beats...
Ha remix goes hard as well. the bellllll man the belll , and that reverse section sheesh.
rich >>>>> idk what they doin with that pitched up/down perc/fx spamming but s*** was sounding like yoshi LOL i rlly liked that
wait this is where back that ass up is from?
my fav bars
I live my life on full
Unzip my pants and I pull
A big d*** baby
You look sick maybe
I tell ya what ya suck my d*** I'll be your man
Now here it is diamonds for the b****es that I f***
Not , I get the p**** make like Donald and duck
mannie fresh a menace
skit about reeboks getting wet is real. i wear reeboks
the vocoder usage on self titled track is futuristic for a late 90s rap song.
ya know im actually impressed by this album.
giving it my first 8/10 for this series.
great prod (even if some of it sounds dated), fun flows, memorable bars, interesting experimentation. there's a lot of humor in this album
also lete gooooo
lot of personality in that album
glad you were able to appreciate it
incredible

i listened to the long season
Ngl that looping guitar DEFINITELY loses its charm in 42 min
but it does have some nice moments in between all that particularly half way

I’m open to legit anything! But my regular listening habits lean rap, R&B, dance, alternative, and electronic, but I’m always looking to explore different genres and styles
wow this is cool
The pic didn’t load on my end
