Last thing I'll say is this. How are labels gonna know when he might drop? I don't think he's revealing that information to anyone, even his label. Drake has been moving on his own time for YEARS now. Didn't Birdman confirm that as at since when he was working on Take Care, they (YMCMB) and Universal never know what Drake is doing or when he'll drop and he drops whenever he's ready? Of course he can do whatever the f*** he wants and drop whenever he wants, lmao. He's Drake and he's the biggest artist UMG works with. Taylor Swift just dropped an album that Republic didn't know about until a few hours before it dropped (along with the general public).

I don't believe that Drake is telling anyone intricate details about the music he's been working on or when he might drop said music. I don't even think HE knows when he'll drop. I just think his focus now is on finishing the album and THEN figuring out how and when he wants to drop it. That's probably why he's kept details about it close to the chest and hasn't announced anything other than his intentions to drop it in the summer.

It ain't beef and I actually agree with what he says in this clip. It doesn't take an "insider" to say the things he said in it, though but I'm glad he isn't acting like Drake gave him this information personally.
