Drake has been moving on his own time for YEARS now. Didn't Birdman confirm that as at since when he was working on Take Care, they (YMCMB) and Universal never know what Drake is doing or when he'll drop and he drops whenever he's ready? Of course he can do whatever the f*** he wants and drop whenever he wants, lmao. He's Drake and he's the biggest artist UMG works with. Taylor Swift just dropped an album that Republic didn't know about until a few hours before it dropped (along with the general public).
I don't believe that Drake is telling anyone intricate details about the music he's been working on or when he might drop said music. I don't even think HE knows when he'll drop. I just think his focus now is on finishing the album and THEN figuring out how and when he wants to drop it. That's probably why he's kept details about it close to the chest and hasn't announced anything other than his intentions to drop it in the summer.

Absolutely not. You can’t “predict” tomorrow is Friday and act like it’s an exclusive that’s not how it works.

Not really, lol. I've always maintained that Wackademiks doesn't really know as much about certain things going on in the industry like he loves to claim. More than 90% of the things he says are things than any smart Drake fan can put together. I've said this countless times.
Yes, I know he's privy to certain things in the industry because of who he is and I know he has had conversations with Drake. But what I also know is that Drake doesn't divulge any sort of sensitive information about his work (his music) to him. Remember, Wackademiks has never met Drake before. Not even once. He usually extrapolates from the casual conversations he has had with Drake and tries to draw information out of that and that's why he's never quite sure of any of the "info" he drops but still goes ahead anyways and says it because he just HAS TO keep up that image of being that industry insider with deep knowledge of everything because it helps maintain whatever little clout he has left.
I don't know why many of you haven't figured that out yet. I know y'all really want new music but that doesn't mean that everybody who has something to say about Drake is saying the whole truth when they speak on him.
