You leif erikson 92?
Freddie for me too, album is such one-note but it always bangs in the whip
Same for 4:44, wasn't feeling Hov unconventional flow till I gave it another spin and I love it.
it's always the third listen a week later, the defining one. for better or worse
Agree
4eva is a Might Long Time has definitely one of those that took me a minute to get. It’s f***ing amazing though
Sweetener

yeezus took me like 6 months before i realized it was one of the best albums ever made...

That's exactly how I felt too, Freddie is also a good one for working out
Took a week or two. Glad I held out and never took it to the used records store (the Minutemen’s Double Nickels on the Dime was not so lucky).
to pimp a butterfly took me a few listens
blonde I didn't get until me and my gf at the time broke up
because the internet I wasn't expecting that from Gambino but it grew on me to be one of my favorites of all time
veteran, and JPEG in general really took me a while to get, but clearly I'm a fan now
Also Oxbow, kind of. I never disliked them but I didn’t love them until later on. Probably my favorite rock band now.
it took like 2 years for me to come back to TLOP and realize how good it was after they finished it fr
Tried to get into this when I was super into the Pixies and it wasn’t Pixies-ish enough for me. Came back to it a few years later and it became one of my favorite albums ever.
Freddie Gibbs in general was like that for me. Felt like he was overrated. This album and Bandana I didn’t understand why people gassed up. Love him now tho
To be frank, that would be “The Gold Experience” by The Artist Formerly Known as Prince.

Oh that's funny. After listening to You Only Live 2wice I immediately became a fan. But this album didn't do a lot for me at first, really like it now
I'm still waiting for Blonde to really click with me 😔
Facts. I’ve never TRULY been in love so I’m assuming when that happens and it fizzles out I’ll finally fully understand it for the masterpiece it is
JIK so underrated bruh
I know, but I'd be lying if I said it clicked directly
