Not really y'all just wanted to hear majority raps again and it didn't happen
sassy ass
Never seen anyone even bring up Beats Rhymes and Life on ktt2
MM is a classic but BRL is great in its own regard, adding Consequence was the biggest mess up
Both of these succeeded at the sound they were going for though?
If bbtm was going for some weak s*** yeah
what's your top 3?
Born to Die - You know how it is, your first is usually your fav.
Ultraviolence - Moodier, darker, noir-psychedelic, etc. More of my wheelhouse.
Lust For Life - The spiritual successor to BTD and Lana's fan service album.

It’s a pop album, and songs like Tell Your Friends are classics, I think it worked in that regard, it’s not a standard dark moody Weeknd project by any means but doesn’t mean it’s bad
This is a good one. I remember being so confused when I heard The Top that I thought it was some contractual obligation type of deal lol
Not sure if anybody did this yet:
side note: it’s ironic how much Mase resembles Cam on the Double Up cover
I respect it
Imo its def a high example of sophmore slump
Dope it didnt ruin him tho while propping Pac up to do the double disc version for AEOM
Very dope how he cared about his mans so much to the point he gave him the best beats he was holding just to make sure he was good & ready to go straight out of jail
I agree letting PAC get AEOM out as best as possible was a real move, and Snoop rebounded after it just took a few more projects

Its got some good songs but the lows are incredibly forced and sound like a label commissioned version of trilogy to play in hot topic

its so bad bruh
First one that came to mind for me
Don't get me wrong, he was still rapping his ass off but the production took a major hit and made me realize GZA has an awful hear for production. Beats like Breaker Breaker, 1112, Publicity and Stringplay makes me sick to my stomach. Ain't nothing worse than cheap ass orchestral beats
Out @ Kiss Land
It’s an absolute step down but not THAT bad of an album
You ever listen to them in succession? It'll f*** your head up real quick lol Trust me, Bill
