thats s*** was not good get over it, abel is washed and this come from a huge fan
I get what your saying but Dawn FM is one of those albums you ignore who made it and how good they used to be you realize its got some decent songs. Im a huge fan too but we just have to accept Abel isn't what he used to be. He peaked but you can still find something to like, a few songs here or there
are you seriously saying that Dawn FM is better than the rest of his albums?
It certainly is
On par, at least

listened 3 times and deleted it tbh, good for you if you enjoy some of it

Is that your opinion or the critics opinion?
never understood people disliking Humanz except that they wanted it to sound more like older Gorillaz albums, which already sounded nothing like one another
It certainly is
On par, at least
on par with what? trilogy and kiss land?
miles and miles and miles away from that
but working with OPN more has def got him creative and exciting for my taste again
im glad ppl like his new s*** but like @Darkest_Angel said Dawn was bitter sweet bc i enjoyed it way more than after hours but it was the final nail in the coffin for me as a fan
ive made my peace that that nigga will never be what he used to be for me and thats fine, he deserves his success fr
There are certain songs that get hyped up that I just find flavorless, like Drake’s Race My Mind or Weeknd’s Out of Time.
DAMN. General consensus seems to have come around though. Most opinions on it I see now are that it was a solid album rather than the masterpiece people were making it out to be.

Id listen to Dawn over Kissland anyday.
Its the same quality as Trilogy but a total different sound and vibe so not really needed to compare to for me.
I don't need "night time" music from Abel to enjoy him, he makes better pop music than R&B

I don’t knock you for Dawn being the final nail in the coffin but why did it take you that long to realize that? Mans been making pop music since 2015 now and I feel like that nail in the coffin should have been a while ago for people that don’t f*** with his mainstream sound.

yea thats insane to me but to each their own i guess
An Evening With Silk Sonic should've been seen as a classic the moment it dropped
Beyonce's Lion King soundtrack should've gotten more praise than it did
More Life is Drake's second best project
I thought more people would go crazy over LUV vs The World 2 tape especially with Bean being a great song
the mixing was so ass
every single song on luv vs the world 2 sounded worse than the snippets or leaks.

Don't forget MDM, Its not on par with that. Abel still has it in him to make something special so personally I won't give up
xotwod

mm im like 21 so i listened to trilogy and kiss land all throughout hs but i got into him during BBTM peak
so when i was getting into him it was like, i didnt wanna believe the era was over
i think same reason why a lot of ppl in my gen love pablo, it was their first kanye album they got to experience in probably the most political year of our time, u feel me
MDM kinda got me hype though. i wasn't obsessed but i really appreciated it.
but yea i cant stand his production with max martin at all, it's just not for me at all.
but the fact that a nigga was singing about doing coke with white women over beach house, siouxsie, aaliyah samples was always and prolly always will be crazy 2 me fr
even tho i got into it like 3/4 years after trilogy dropped, it was just insane to me that a black guy was singing about d**** in the way that he did, when i was going through really bad opioid addiction over the kind of music i liked to listen to
honestly its the songwriting of kiss land and sampling in trilogy that make those records special to me
idk if any of that made sense kinda wrote it out of order
don’t matter who you thinking for trash is trash
Donda is the best post YEEZUS Kanye album yet
Pablo. People absolutely love it, so much so calling it top 3 ye. The whole era is iconic as f***, but the album itself was just so messy and all over the place, it’s never clicked with me. Some great moments, but also a lot of bad ones that if anyone else made, the reception wouldn’t be as positive.
It’s not my least favorite ye project, but it’s the one I scratch my head and wonder how people say it’s better than his earlier work. (His stuff post- Pablo I could understand at least)
A Written Testimony reception was baffling
Saw the narrative on this album change in real time
And the whole “it’s supposed to be messy” thing isn’t a good enough answer to me, because if that was the case, there’s a lot more albums with the “messy” schitck that do it better than Pablo

Yeah more so looking back, initial reaction was expected but its surprising how much KTT now loves that album. It's the new Yeezus around here(everybody's favorite Ye album)
