    Sahbabii - Barnacles

    It felt really 50/50

And then DIFD dropped and I felt like everyone enjoyed it

It didn’t feel that different of a project even if there was a decent handful of more “serious” tracks

Barnacles to me felt like I was floating on a cloud of ecstasy

i didn't think people would dislike star-crossed by kacey musgraves as much as they did.

i liked it more than golden hour (which was also good) but people seem to think it was hot garbage. even if its not as good as golden hour its not that bad.

4 years later and I still haven't listened to Testing. Might be time to change that

I always recommend it. Feel like a lot of people didn't give it a fair shot.

    Honestly, Untitled by Nas.

That album had all sorts of controversy surrounding it at the time of its release cause of the OG title but it was actually a standard conscious rap album that touched on social issues and Black history.

The way the album was panned and treated as "controversial" at the time, you'd think Nas was rapping like Dead Prez or something or saying "Edomites" or some s***.

Even stranger is how the album isn't even bigged up like that by rap fans yet 4:44 and TPAB get all the attention. Of course, the latter are better albums but Untitled always get overlooked for its type of content.

    A Mad Ass Nigga

Nah Views and Scorpion are some of his weakest work especially when you consider everything that led up to the albums.

I understand your opinion but I still think it’s overhated. For example I can agree that Scorpion was more inconsistent than any other Drake project but still a lot of people make it seem like it’s the worst album ever.

Of course at the end of the day its opinions vs opinions, so its cool, but I struggle to hear what’s so agressively bad about it strictly music-wise

Album is literally a masterpiece but some niggas hate it cause its not DS2

Speaking of Future, I was surprised his self-titled didn’t get a better reception especially from the fans. S*** was stacked with bangers, I relistened recently and it still slaps.

Barnacles was an amazing album and a personal summer classic, that s*** hits so hard with the sun

DIFD on the other hand had dope singles but the project itself didn't hit at all for me

FUTURE is definitely one of his most consistent albums, so hard

it’s just cause both of them are long af. If he shortened both to the best songs it’s a classic

CLB is not as bad but it’s not that good either. We’ve heard a lot of those songs done by Drake but done way better on other projects

    People are dumb

    Pretty much

Also the internet has given everybody the ability to be a critic when really most people just run their mouths just to hear themselves talk/see themselves type and have no real perspective. The actual critics have followed suit and have become picky and biased just like the rest of the internet instead of being professionals.

20 years ago both of these would’ve been instant classics, XXL etc
