pretty much Carly Rae Jepsen’s discography
i like some of her songs but album wise it never hit for me. idk why mfs hype her up
it's music for the gays and the dolls sorry you couldn't get it honey
to this day, in my mind is considered a mediocre album.
I have now idea how; it's amazing
Sahbabii - Barnacles
It felt really 50/50
And then DIFD dropped and I felt like everyone enjoyed it
It didn’t feel that different of a project even if there was a decent handful of more “serious” tracks
Barnacles to me felt like I was floating on a cloud of ecstasy
IMO he always get 70% of the track list perfect with a couple more mediocre songs but he absolutely one of the most consistent out
And keep in mind reception could change over time. Just give it a while and people might come around. I have a feeling Dawn FM is going to be like Views, hated on release but over time became a classic
Doesn’t that just make the listeners stupid though? Like it took them a long ass time to catch on. The music doesn’t change it’s the same thing that was released years ago but now all of a sudden it’s amazing?
We ahead of the curb
The OG WLR reception will go down as one of the biggest losses for the bandwagon fans of rap and pop music. Horrible takes left and right on release and a damn near certified classic to half the same crowd half a year later

i fw a lot of music that has a majority LGBTQ+ fanbase so no it's not because of that
Drogas wave should’ve a better reception then the one it got
it’s probably a lack of exposure/word of mouth that killed it, the long track listing probably didn’t help out either

maybe it's the bad taste in anime
More and more I find myself confused with album reception
Pusha T and The weeknd just this year dropped some of their best work and reception among critics and fans seems shockingly lukewarm
Even fka twigs dropped her best body of work to date and yet it seems like nobody talks about it in best of conversations for the year so far
push and weeknd’s albums have been met with acclaim from critics (both have very high scores on metacritic) so I’m not sure what you’re talking about there
fans and general audiences usually give mixed opinions on any new album so it’s nothing out of the ordinary
Dawn FM really only clicked primarily with the core fan base. Weirdly enough, the people I know irl that didn’t f*** with After Hours are f***ing with Dawn FM more lmao. Very interesting.
Ppl honestly wasn’t ready for another Abel album. Curse of dropping too soon. Felt like After Hours had two more years of legs.
Plus the After Hours tour didn’t even start so it felt like “damn he dropping again”
Drogas wave should’ve a better reception then the one it got
Lupe fans loved it, but I guess he’s just not relevant enough these days for the love to be spread around enough
Both Donda and CLB were good albums that will be appreciated more as time goes
Pablo and views 2.0
people acting like Donda not already a classic
ea standard is a 10/10
that dropped when I was in Paris. Slapped the s*** off my phone at the eiffel tower
Critically More Life did well, but is often panned by fans.
Eternal Atake is kinda the same way.
Cherry bomb; it was so musically clear of everything he had done up to that point but was still received badly
People didn't understand MGMT's Congratulations when it came out and it's clearly a fantastic album
I’ll never forget/forgive KTT’s hate boner for Kendrick and Mr Morale at launch.
honestly, nevermind
Proof that people never actually wanted a new sounding Drake album, they just want 50 regular Drake tracks so they can pick a few to be their favorite

Bro that’s not it at all lol it was just clearly rushed and a lot of songs are just flat. He has some great records on there though and I think it’s a step up from the last 3 albums for sure
