They make through actors go through so much when preparing for a role
Why is firearms training not part of that
why was it being pointed at someone
Because people are stupid and do not know to handle guns
Unless its a literally a water gun or a nerf gun treat every single gun like it's loaded
Same s*** happened to Brandon Lee.
Why are there ever live rounds inside of prop guns ?!?!?!
I've always wondered this too
why was it being pointed at someone
The way it seems is one round being fired at 2 people
It being the cinematographer and director I gotta think they were setting up a shot where the gun would’ve been fired at the camera.

yeah this sounds plausible
hope he wasn't being a dumbass tho
idk this sounds like the type of thing you would read about from mad long ago like the 1970s or something
Doesn't have to be live rounds
Blank rounds can still kill
Sheeshh. You'd think by now they'd come up with a way to make movie prop guns that can shoot blanks and not be dangerous enough to kill someone.
Holy f*** been watching 30 Rock every day lately man's doesn't deserve this guilt on top of his other guilt

What’s his other guilt
Same s*** happened to Brandon Lee.

Came in thinking bout this SMH you would think they learned by now
Holy s*** what a tragic situation all around. Pray for the families and for all the crew, I can’t imagine how Alec is feeling. People insinuating he’s at fault don’t realize there’s a lot of steps and people who gotta check the prop gun before it gets in the actors hands. They’re being directed the whole time and shots where the gun is aimed at the camera/crew are in almost every action movie.

Oh yea this thing. I mean to be fair this doesn’t make me feel bad for Baldwin it just shows what a d***head he is

I think he was self directing this one
That's f***ed, I imagine that s*** must wreck you mentally, dude gonna be replaying that in his head for a long long time

Nah baldwin was producing and starring. The director got hit too, he’s in the hospital
Honestly not tryna tell y’all how to feel but I think feeling bad for Baldwin is kinda missing the mark. Might’ve been his fault and either way he’s a big boy with lots of money he’ll be okay

Yes

But isn't it up to the equipment or props crew to check the props to make sure s*** like this doesn't happen ?
It wasn't Alec's job to fully examine the gun
