They gotta break the camera
Damn, bro sat with the camrip guy
Similar to Refn in his movies will make you film something. Its about being able to go to a theater and EXPERIENCE SOMETHING.
I enjoyed this tbh. Chuckled often throughout, looked and was staged incredible, some very funny moments/ performances.
One couple out of the maybe 10 of us in there walked out during the third act which i will say did start to feel a lil long in the tooth
Overall I dug it
Real
I think it would add to it if beginning was play , then we saw the reality of what happened at time then future (present). To see how they distort the reality
Kind of hilarious that before the twist was revealed I thought to myself “this is very theatrically staged” lo and behold it’s a play lmao
Facts I was thinking “is the outside a painting of outside? Why it look fake”

the thing is so much of the movie was clearly fake throughout but you only notice if you dont just focus on the entertainment of it. Which is also part of the point. manicans are in the crowd during his speech. guys next to me realized and were pointing. There were many details like that throughout of clearly fake things . There was crowd noise in the movie throughout the movie and sounds of leaking like flooding
Same
why would yall see a movie like this drunk see a movie where you can turn your brain off drunk or thats just pretty colors

After seeing the ending reveal did that make you wonder even more about the plane? I mean these people don’t even have cars that they are able to drive, so it seems like that adds more to your Jesse hacking the plane theory, cus it feels like in this apocalyptic world the planes are prolly limited? meaning easier to control

I think they have likely very limited planes for very rich people which his daughter falls under that class. i think travel would be highly restricted besides that rich class. So essentially he thinks his daughter may be dead and he may be punished for her partying in Jamaica during a dystopia which essentially is taking advantage of her being high up there in class. He even tries to cope "she would get off the plane she wouldnt fly in conditions like this risking her life she is smart" . Jesse creeps up on him to hear the situation at the perfect time. i genuinely think Jesse tech company owns the robots outside, the plane tech system and orchestrates a lot of the modern reality with money from the rich seeing the play. Some have also theorized he controls the mask system. Even the alarm system of the alerts keeping them in fear. He wants them to live in fear where their only cartharis and act of rebellion is seeing the movie critiquing his family member that he controls the narrative of. digger hands him the cats ashes in the movie before jumping to his death. He bought the original idea from the original creators who actually had the punch and the soul. The original creators sold the rights to get rich and then let him construct the narrative with big name actors. He wasnt quite getting the performance he wanted with Digger so he augmented it by introducing real world drama that perfectly resolves at the conflict.
Im so lost on the reviews
Ive seen low ratings but then the sentiment is “good” ? Are people waiting for people to say its good
10 people have seen this movie. 5 of them publish columns and 5 of them talk about those columns on Twitter. Not much of a sample. Even the phony divisiveness isn't moving the needle.

To be honest again I dont limit it to climate change. I dont limit it to colonialism. Epstein was widely publicized enemy who killed himself. Now many of those clapping at his death and profiting from it are doing the same things behind closed doors. Controlling the narrative and keeping people obsessed with his story. Its about construction of a fall guy that keeps the audience entertained and distracted from their dark reality . In this case for 25+ years. To thep point where they dont care if its fictional for the most part they just enjoy its entertainment . A lot of this movie goes opposite to Primetime message and execution in which Chris Hansen is the fall guy for sensationalism.
