Why not just watch it and then make a judgement?
Some of the greatest and entertaining films had a normal/boring sounding plot
Not saying that’s the case here but that post made you sound close minded calling it boring before having watched it

CrimsonArkNah, I think most of it is because of Alex Garland putting his foot in his mouth.
Bit of both and a24 hyping it as their first blockbuster . Again feels they rushed him from men to this . You can feel a24 wanted this to land here in an election year more than garland

It’s funny cus Men wasn’t vague at all and pretty easy to understand. Especially with every man in the town being the same actor. Lol Garland was pretty obvious with his message.

Personally I think cus Garland set the bar so high for himself. For me it didn’t suck at all, I enjoyed it but I didn’t LOVE it like I did Ex machina and Annihilation.
