Slightly above average but Jesse Plemons maximized his minutes and stole the show

Some of this is honestly just silly and the way certain plot points are reached is just far too convenient. Not a bad movie by any means tho… cinematography and sound were cool if those are your things. Find it funny I’ve seen people comparing this to Nightcrawler tho as it’s one of my fav films ever.

It needed to punch harder and be less convenient the part where it showed her covering other war zones I was like "OMG THEY REALLY GONNA NAIL IT AND SHOW HOW DEHUMANIZED THEY ARE OF OTHER PEOPLE UNTIL IT HITS HOME" but it didnt fully land and it didn't fully depict Americans as they depict the worlds they destabilize

the needle drops in this movie are f***ing awful
also this is bottom tier Garland now that I think about it

Still a good movie but this just could've been way better
