2010s have absolutely been better than the 00s. You guys must have already forgotten how much s***ty bling era, club, and ringtone rap there was taking over the entire mainstream

00's had LOADS of classics, despite numerous s***ty eras within that decade. 10's was nothing compared to back then sorry

You absolutely don’t know what your talking about. You could’ve at least said late 00’s but you said all of 00 . At least there was still real subcultures and genuine movements in the 2000’s and that’s not even half of what makes that decade of music better than the 10s. (Besides 2010-2013)

Actually you don't know what you're talking about. I'd bet I listen to a wider range of rap than pretty much everyone on this forum. You only have yourself to blame for not going beyond the Rap Caviar playlist and thinking the 10s were a dry era for rap

Oh,this is one of those post where your not right but your not technically wrong at the same time. Ya named some dudes who were in the 00‘s in that list and yes there are some good artists there like Gibbs,Danny,KRIT etc but they don’t represent the image of today’s Hip-Hop. We can’t ignore the fact that underground rap is not being made at the same quality it once was and a lot these guys are just coming off amateur-ish at this point.

You can ignore the signs all you want to but there’s a huge quality disparity with Hip Hop now vs 00’s,even music that’s suppose to be fun is boring cause it all comes off the same.

I just don't think the 00s has the depth to match up with the 10s from a discography standpoint. Maybe the top 25 or so albums from each era would be pretty close but once you get that point I think the past decade easily has the edge
