They along with the Babylonians took a liking to the Hebrew God YHWH and their customs and created their off shoots of The Covenant. The Ashkenaz were given the Torah but only through Oral Tradition because the understanding of the Bible is ONLY for the Hebrews. Those Ashkenazi became the Pharisees of the New Testament.
Even in modern times, I can post a video of the Sanhedrian clamining they're the Pharisees of the biblical times. It’s also in their Talmud, that they’re the Pharisees.
The Babylonians created the religion of Zoroaster. This is why the people who believed in Zoroaster were called Magi. When Jesus was born, the three wisemen came to visit him were aka The Three Magi!

Edomites are Idumeian which are from Petra, Jordan. Petra Jordan literally looks like Rome 1.0

A lot to dissect in this post so I’ll break it into chunks
The ancient kingdoms of Israel and Judah did not have their entire populations deported as the narratives suggest. More liklely, their governing and educated classes were sent into exile while the peasants mainly remained the same (explaining the high genetic similarities between Jews and Lebanese people) Israelites and Judahites are both “Hebrew” so the israelite Hebrews we’re in Assyria where they mostly disappeared into history, while the judahite Hebrews were in Babylon were they became a notable group and where the Babylonian Talmud eventually began to form. The judahitrs did not really convert their conquerors (Babylonians) into Judaism, they just maintained elements of their own tradition which, upon their return to Israel under Persian rule, manifested itself into second temple Judaism.
Babylonians are Semitic, and they did not create Zoroastrianism. Persians are japhetic (see table of nations - elamites) and they created Zoroastrianism, which is believed to be a contributor to the montheistic character of the Jewish religion. It is believed that ancient Israelites were henotheistic, only worshipping their national god while accepting the existence of other national gods for other nations. This explains why i the Israelites are commanded not to put other gods before God and how other gods are generally implied to actually exist at some points before the book of chronicles. Upon the Judahites return to the land of Judah, their beliefs were reconstructed so that there was only one god and the others didn’t exist.
Pharisees and Sadducees are 1st century AD schools of thought in the Jewish religion, particularly among the educated classes. They no longer exist and were mostly done by the end of the Jewish-Roman wars
Like I said before, jews are genetically similar to Lebanese, Druze in the Levantine area, more so than they are to Europeans, Saudi Arabians, and Iraqis (where ancient Assyria and Babylon now exist)
