Moving back to a LCD screen is disappointing too but based on specs I'm guessing they're having a tough time keeping the price reasonable.

OLED Steam Deck has similar specs but $549 would be a tough ass pill to swallow for a mainstream handheld console

I think people generally love MK and it's been like a decade since the last one but BOTW was more of a technical showcase/Nintendo entering a new mindset of game design.
