More so, the amateur thing is really apparent when reading almost any of his reviews. Dude has like NO nuance or real substantial a***ysis/depth to any of his stuff. And I know he's gone on about trying to make the platform when it comes to Hip-Hop discussion less serious and more casual which is needed, but I can't say the medium he's provide nor his actual work is pushing towards that future.
I'll never knock the platform he's given smaller artists, but the writing itself is just so incredibly weak that's it hard to ignore.
Agreed. I'll give him props for occasionally giving some shine to new artists, but the writing is shallow. Saying he writes like a KTT s***poster is barely even an exaggeration lol.
