He doesn't have the hunger that he once have when he came up, which is the reason his albums been pretty bad lately. There's times where he shines once in a while, but that's about it.

okay elaborate a bit more for me g

Every Drake album for me is just hit or miss. Like hell have a 15-20 song album and I’ll only enjoy like maybe half of it. Then 25% will be bad and another 25% will be okay but nothing special.
Lyrics aren’t really that interesting to me.
Not only that but he has like 3/4 archetypes of songs that he makes. Like once you’ve heard one of them you’ve pretty much heard them all

Most of it are people that listen to Earl Sweatshirt who hate on Drake due to him being popular

    He doesnt seem inspired anymore.

Drake used to use his vocal range to express how hed be really feeling in his songs.

And his monotone rapping style hes been using post iyrtitl is very tiring.

All hes been rapping about since 2015 is essentially "the higher ups tryna end me, but they cant cause im drake"

Plus his beat selection been pretty mid too

PERSONALLY, I just don’t feel that connection to his music anymore where the essence of toronto is captured. too concerned with other people and lost that hunger. but as a previous fan, i’m hoping he can recapture that element

i’d agree with this post Views. all his albums before then were solid-classics

I still love his music, I just think the beat selections have been stale with the same overdriven bass and drums. Otherwise he’s still killing it lyrically
