i saw a lot of hate threads after he dropped the two leaks, so wanted to root that out and actually have a discussion to understand why people don’t like his music without the hating and trolling

People just hate drake. It’s been a theme throughout his career and intensified at different moments. Part of what makes him run more impressive. Hip hop media, haters, he’s had a lot rooting against him passionately

I’d say passionately anti drake might too 3 hip hop fan bases lmao

Name a rap album similar to rebirth.
The greatest lyricist of all time made a rock album a year after c3 dropped.

That’s greatness and I respect it even if the music wasn’t the best

Nothings great about d***ging your way to another genre and making bad music in it

    F*** outta here

But he can sing, has diff content than Jay, and make make more than 2 styles of songs

Oh, and write catchy and relatable hooks

Which is why he’s ultimately going down as top 1 or 2 when it’s all said and done and you can’t do nothing but drown in it

He can’t sing stop it kid.

Not even gonna address that other foolishness.

he does use too much filler tho

yeah i agree. but at the same time, shouldn’t drake being on top make him more pressured and competitive to challenge himself? those are hits, but we know drake is versatile and can do that

it does seem like he’s been getting complacent last couple years

Charli herself said Yeezus was one of her favorites

All you have to do is google “reputation, yeezus” to see that that was one of the main talking points when the album dropped.

Wayne started all that “I’m a rockstar” s*** in rap

I can see personally where he lost a lot of people after IYRTITL cause out of all his albums for me that is on the lower end. More Life is over-hated for sure idk why. Scorpion I think at the core was a good idea and attempt. But see where it falls short of it being too much for some and have some duds. The only dud on that project is for me is RHB. Even then it is funny to listen to here and there just isn’t my favorite. I said this before album wise he honestly has not really a terrible one yet. Subjectively speaking of course for most and i’m rather bias myself. If you were sit down somebody who didn’t like out of his 3 latest and go song by song on each album there would be a different outcome. Just having the time to listen and respond after each song. Sorry for the essay lmao but a lot of it is just the wave to hate on him. See it on Twitter a ton a lot. Hope this helped.

drake will never have a bad album, that’s facts. you think he has the motivation to push himself to make that out of comfort zone classic? or at least try something different? he sure has the talent to do so

Talent? Yes will he? Idk honestly since this far in he’s always talked about his own life. It would be dope as f*** if he did a GKMC type of album like him back when he was younger. He even said himself though he can’t see himself doing an album with skits and stuff. So I don’t know tbh.
