Good 4 U is extremely catchy, she makes some good music I can see the appeal
It’s just dumb when people on this an artist makes kids music or they feel disconnected when they’re talking about something that’s not meant for their age demographic.
Word, your first post just sounded way more rigid with the "you are supposed to feel disconnected" like nah that's not necessarily the case. But it can be a reason why. So I understand you better now.

Responses in here telling me that y'all are very surface level music listeners. And there's nothing wrong with that, but don't tell people what they should or shouldn't be connecting with. That ain't really how this art s*** works. There are various intrinsic qualities within music that stretch past who the intended audience is.
And on that note, the artist would probably disagree with y'all thoughts on that in itself. Surely Olivia isn't relegating her artistry so it's really odd to see post after post.
But f*** it. I don't even enjoy the album and hope Billie wins the Grammy over her

gabapentini understand what you're saying, i cant speak to others motivations, surely some men are like this
but personally i listen to girls and gays-core pop music not in an attempt to relate to women but because i do relate to them, the way they (and I) perceive the lyrical and sonic energy of such work
the feminine is an ineluctable part of the human experience, a side of my own self I refrain from abnegating
to the person who said "do you think women listen to young guys to relate to them" I do think in the same vein that some 16 year old girl listening to the most brusque trap music is living out own relation to, say, the most masc aggro tendencies of her personality
and yeah i think o rod is cute too, i have an affinity for the half pinay-half gringa look, she looks kinda like a This Person Does Not Exist but in the best way
