This essentially just a scheme.
Stuff like this always tied to "you have to work multiple years, work while in school, continue working with us after you graduate, etc" and only like 5% at most will end up staying long enough, meeting all criteria, and having their s*** fully covered as planned after luring all those people with that promise.
The planet straight overpopulated we do not have a worker shortage you meatball
Go to school dumbass.
Overpopulation is a myth. Especially in America. China is the same size as the US with nearly 5x the population
There just ain’t enough grinders here
Yea lets grind the planet into an inhospitable wasteland even faster.
stfu
Go to school dumbass.
been there done that its mid

Doesn't sound like growth if these companies ain't got the money to hire workers.
Remember, if minimum wage had kept pace with the actual cost of living since it was introduced it would be in the $30's.
That was literally never going to happen because as soon as other parts of the world caught up to the US in industrialisation companies would just take jobs there. Neither the US government nor any of the 50 states are in a position to mandate a $30 min wage. Actually if you can show me any place with a $30 min wage (adjusted for PPP) I will eat my hat.

Who says this? The carrying capacity of the earth is 11 bn AFAIK. Right now we're below 8 bn.
What's the catch? Can't trust Amazon for s***.
You have to work at amazon
Important to note that like the other companies who have done this, it is for a set list of colleges that Amazon chooses, not every college in the country.

You'd likely also have to maintain a certain GPA as a requirement. Which is fine and pretty standard. But when I worked Amazon while also attending school that s*** was a damn nightmare. S*** ain't even about "grinding", you just gotta hate yourself in order to be a full time student while also working at Amazon.

Eat your hat now anyway it will prepare you for future meals.

Where did you get the 80% number lmfao
That’s for branch campuses. Not the main school lol
The branch campuses are a completely different entity. The actual acceptance rate for Penn State is like 49%
Not to mention the largest alumni network + connections you make from the school. I’m 24, but when I was 22 and a new grad I was already more successful than my parents, one of which was an engineer lol. All from the resume I built while at PSU (with internships that I got through the university’s career services)

This website is based on estimations with a formula that is clearly broken, and accidentally accounting for overall admissions.
Class of 2025 admitted 40,031 of 73,861 applicants. That’s 54% and one of the highest admission rates they’ve had lmao
