The economy is growing at a too fast rate rn, there is a shortage of employees in almost every sector atm.
Doesn't sound like growth if these companies ain't got the money to hire workers.
Remember, if minimum wage had kept pace with the actual cost of living since it was introduced it would be in the $30's.
I get all that, better healthcare and I make $18 hr , $23 hr overtime
10?
How much would it cost them if they (and other big corps) were taxed fairly to provide tuition for ALL STUDENTS
way more than this that’s for sure
Amazon yet again proves how they do more for their employees than the US Government does for people

maybe because all the wealth is concentrated in these companies and the govt is basically a puppet of the rich
if amazon has the wealth to pay for 750k peoples college, wouldnt it be better if we had a govt that worked for the people and put that wealth to use instead . instead of trusting it to the goodwill of a couple multi billionaires
Damn so they've had the money to do all of this and are just now doing it
That's cool let's tax tf out of em
Just so you know Amazon is worried about running out of workers.

That's how high their employee turnover rate is.
I am sure that the number of people who get bachelors through this will be very, very slim. I can't imagine many make it even 1-2 years. Everyone I know who has worked for Amazon has been burned out before even a year.

They got the money to hire workers tho, there just aren’t enough people looking for a job.

Overpopulation is a myth. Especially in America. China is the same size as the US with nearly 5x the population
There just ain’t enough grinders here
