They follow similar plot lines, but the comics are a bit more shallow with the characters and the order of the plot lines are totally switched with some characters not being there in the show VS the comics.

The show builds way better emotions than the comics in the individual plot lines.

Even the fight with the world defenders with omni man on episode one was more impactful to me
