so f***ing boring dude. I don’t want that lame ass ship
oh we got shipping wars in this show now. Less get it
It'll be over next episode. In the comics it goes on for almost 40 issues

I am sorry i guess I am just so tired of the boring bullshit ass trope of the male protagonist being a constant f*** up pretty much forcing the partner to end the relationship only for that protagonist to move on to someone else “more fitting” it’s just so f***ing lame
40 f***ing issues
yeah I was getting annoyed about it. What's worse is that she was a boring blonde white girl. At least this Amber is interesting.
Plus these comics are old from the 2000s so that trope was popular then

Jesus
Am I the only one that finds the sound mixing on this show uneven as f***? S*** goes from quiet to very loud and viceversa every two scenes
He's gonna need a new nickname
Brodie is getting f***ed up every episode
That’s how it is in the comics apparently
spoiler that s***, f*** you man
spoiler that s***, f*** you man
I mean s*** was pretty obvious that they would end up together from the first/second episode but ppl who read the comics def need to be careful w spoilers even if it’s just mild spoilers. already got like 2-3 things spoiled for me in this thread but non of them were major spoilers so wasn’t tripping too much.
Saw EP 1 and wasn’t impressed. This seems way to cliche (I’m aware it’s based off a comic), the ending saved the episode that I will at least attempt to watch the second one.

So far it isnt a masterpiece but its an entertaining show, the humor is very good tho

entertaining enough for me to wanna finish the season but def nothing amazing. usually not too crazy about superhero movies/shows/comics. if the main character wasn’t asian/Steve yeun I prolly woulda never gave this a chance tho tbh.
Gillian Jacobs on Throwing Fits
How did you read the entire series in a week?
bro at work, when i got home, sometimes when i was at a red light. i wanted to get THROUGH that sh*t
sad lol
Robert Kirkman has a big problem with pacing/ending things, look at the state of Walking Dead. I don’t blame you
youre not wrong. and theres like...two 4th wall breaking moments in the comics where the writer clearly is like..."well i just felt like shaking s*** up and its fine bc its just a comic and whatever"
it definitely takes me out of the experience especially when he teters between breaking that barrier and hinting that hes gonna break it. hard to describe but its a thing i noticed.
never read walking dead and highkey super glad i didnt lol.

The comic definitely has some pacing issues and sometimes just goes through onslaughts of depressing arcs. But it's a really fun roller coaster ride
