I mean his dad is literally Omni Man and even he won’t reveal his identity lol. Pretty sure his dad warned him of sharing it too at some point. It’s not that cut and dry especially with a girl you been dating for a couple months. That’s nothing

All of them seem to be somewhat protective of it even obvious connections like Eve. Mark was also thrown into the superhero game immediately I can understand him needing time.

Why should Mark have told Amber earlier about his identity? It's a high school relationship of a few months. They can break up with each other at any moment and now that's just 1 more person that knows his identity.

I don't like how they was talking to my nigga Mark this episode. So he didn't tell you about his secret identity at first, so the f*** what. It's a secret identity and he can tell you when he's ready. Amber and William were dead wrong.

i guess i could shed a little light on her perspective.

in this world there seems to be secret identities and all that but it’s also very normalized that heroes and villains exist in this world by this point.

Amber definitely feels like she wasn’t REALLY trusted by Mark with a essential part of his identity which is his future, after about 4 months of constantly dipping in and out of the commitment of their relationship in order to be a hero, i would imagine that she felt that he wasn’t serious about her if he couldn’t tell her one of the most key components of his daily life.

So I'm gonna guess based on the episode plot point that the show is gonna go like this (comic spoilers):

Season 1: Buildup to Mark's heritage reveal
Season 2: Life without Omni Man with cliffhanger ending of Mark going to find him ruling another planet (forgot the name)
Season 3: Preparing for Viltrumite assaults and Oliver's life on Earth with Omni-Man and Allen come back last ep
I don't see them doing Angstrom Levy
