How much does this affect the show
Oh they’re confident
Release a full trailer then.
Oh they’re confident
Glad they have a plan set
Ayyyy they bringing back LOTR style prosthetic orcs instead of them just being 3d computer effects like in hobbit?
The fact that the showrunners have absolutely no prior work experience is what has me worried. How the hell do you give the most expensive tv show ever to someone who’s never made..well.. anything.

Someone tried to say marvle just laundering money with those budgets in another thread today but honestly how else did these guys get a billion dollar budget if they never done anything else

Did the same thing for the original lord of the rings basically.

Peter?
Yeah he was relatively small when they got him to direct
To be fair though, I don’t think that’s really the same thing. Peter worked on like 7 other projects before the trilogy, some having had a budget in the 3-5 million range, whereas these two guys showrunning this have literally zero credits on anything prior to this. Then, consider the fact that this will be the most expensive show EVER. It just feels confusing to take a risk this big on amateurs imo.
