my issue with this is faces look weird during close ups and dialogs
it looks like the actors are paralyzed or something
I loved close up shots in dwarf scenes
The complaint that a character is too powerful is only ever brought up when it’s a woman. When it’s a male he’s just “built different”
Nah op is boring
superman type main characters boring af
I want mfs fighting for their lives in desperate life or death slug fests

Who would be an example? I can’t think of a male character at the top of my head. Goku? Does Superman get a lot hate for that?
Homelander & Omni Man are op and fan favorites but they’re villains so it could be different
Best fight in the trilogy, str8 up slug fest aragorn just barely escapes with his life from
Why are people saying Galadriel swam back to Middle Earth? First she swam to a raft in the middle of the ocean, then the raft eventually floated to a boat who knows where.
I agree it was a little goofy when she just abandoned ship in the middle of nowhere, but it's not like she just magically made it back to shore. I feel like her trip back is at least plausible, even if it feels a bit too convenient.
IDK how strong elves are supposed to be, maybe they're really good at swimming.
Watched the first ep, I liked it. Dialogue and characterizations were pretty average, but I think they got the feel of LOTR down very well, which is the most important thing. Visuals were amazing as well.
I don’t know if this will be the cultural phenomenon that Amazon needs it to be though. It has the brand recognition, but it’s heavier on fantasy lore and feels a little less accessible than GOT. Hopefully Bezos is mostly producing this as a passion project and doesn’t get too caught up with the financials.
I don’t take the tomatometer seriously
the audience score, the fans, are bombing the score
it’s at 36% damn
mfs are weird and racist and been hating on this since the first images were released. nerds get way too protective over IPs that they like.
The amount of hate this show got before release was pretty insane. People got so mad that they cast a few black actors in a fantasy world. Sad.
They already doing the same for the black characters in the new GOT show smh. I swear crackers will excuse dragons, elfs, orcs, fairies etc. But as soon as niggas appear it’s, “this is too unrealistic” 💀💀
!dream gandalf skateboarding van gogh

That's good to hear
Still most looking forward to the Blade Runner live action series & NWR miniseries
NWR miniseries you say?
First two episodes looked gorgeous and you can really tell they went ham with the budget. We’re off to a great start.
if this is what bland cinematography and god awful lightning looks like give me more of that
Damn this s*** BRICKSSSSSSS i have to watch
Man the internet is wild, people talkin about skin color more than the beautiful artistic aesthetic, what the f is wrong wit this world
the Elf King was a bit oddly casted. this guy looks more like an FBI agent than an elf
Ngl fell asleep half way through the first episode. I was high off an edible. Imma try watching this again today
The woman who plays Galadriel needs to learn how to act with her face. She’s awfully stiff
