The first movie is a better indication of whether you'd enjoy this than watching the first episode of this tho

Show is absolutely gorgeous

the hobbit s*** got way too much screentime but the show is beautiful visually. galadriel's awesome.

2nd episode better than the 1st imo

The first movie is nothing like this. This is generic fantasy. Same source materials and characters, but executed differently.

Galadriel is not a compelling character at all. Very one dimensional. Dialogue is terrible in general

It's just kinda funny my dad 70 years old n been a Lotr nerd basically his whole life. If he can watch this without crying so can everyone else . Doesn't mean he gonna love every thing about it, just I've read so much stupid s***
