I'd say yes, my friend got it for him and his girl and they go to movies all the time now and it's way cheaper.

you can go to any imax/dolby theater and the ticket that's usually like $24 is automatically free. watch 2 movies in a month and it's basically paid for with the first ticket.

but I will say, it was more useful in summer when there was a ton of movies. Or even now there's a lot in the holiday season. But I know January is gonna be super slow, maybe get it for this month, watch like 3 movies and decide if you wanna cancel
